General FAQ’s

  • Especially as we return to cooking both online and in person, ALL of our safety is our primary concern. No one is required to wear face masks while cooking, as subject to current governmental protocols. But be assured though that all staff with be vaccinated. In addition, all guests and cooks will be required to wash hands and sanitize before the handling of any products/equipment. Additionally, all individuals will be required to withdraw from in person class participation if showing any Covid-19 symptoms. Thank you for your love and understanding.

  • It is always our priority and our intention to ensure that our products are locally and organically sourced. How can we possibly β€˜Nourish our Happy’ if our products and ingredients used hurts the earth and those who provided us all this goodness? Nope! We will not have it! We are nourishing ALL of our happy… that’s our promise to you. During our classes we will showcase all of the wonderful ingredients we’ve sourced from responsible sources.   • For any online class, a full credit will be issued for any guest if notice is provided by email 48 hours beforehand. The email must be the same as the one used at the time of purchase for security reasons. If ingredient and equipment add on was included, then we’re not able to guarantee a full return. However, we will try our best with our third party delivery.

    For any in person event, a minimum of 5 business days must be provided. Notice must be provided by telephone and/or email as soon as possible.

    All bakery goods purchased are final at the time of purchase.

    All this being said, Nourish Happy. is not unreasonable. We’re people too. Message us if something has happened, and we will figure this out.

  • For any food item sold, no returns, exchanges or refunds can be issued. But, please message Nourish Happy. at headchef@nourishhappy.com and we will figure out together how we can make this right.

    For any class already taken or past the 48 hour cancellation window, no returns, exchanges, or refunds can be issued. If an exceptional circumstance happened, which made it impossible for you to connect with us within the time, please message Nourish Happy. at headchef@nourishhappy.com.

  • Payment for any online Nourish Happy. item is required in full at the time of the registration.

    For all classes and events, a small deposit is asked for and full payment is required before our event date.

    However, we’re open to seeing what we can do if this isn’t possible for you. Please email us at headchef@nourishhappy.com, we’ll explore options.

For Classes + Custom Programs

  • Your safety is our top priority, so we require you to wear closed-toe shoes during our class. We also recommend comfortable clothing with ample range of motion and hair clipped back to protect it and your food.

  • Depending on what your hopes and needs are, we can make accommodations.

    For group classes, there are no maximum number of guests that are able to participate. However, there is a maximum number of screens that can join in.

  • We welcome students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced cooks. When the opportunity to share your skill level arises, we’ll be ready to teach.

  • In some cases we will ask for you to purchase ingredients for your class to participate fully. However, if this is the case, we will always ensure that you’ll be notified beforehand and provided with ample time to purchase ingredients. We will make the greatest of efforts to ensure that ingredients are not excessive and costly when possible.

    As for equipment, we will also do our best to notify you of all necessary tools and accessories needed for classes. If you do not have access to certain pieces of equipment, let us know and we will be really happy provide alternatives when possible.

  • All modifications are welcomed! What’s most important is that we all feel safe and included, and each class meets your needs. Please do not hesitate to mention any and all dietary restrictions and preferences when the opportunity arises and/or reach out to us directly at headchef@nourishhappy.com.

  • To ensure an engaging and seamless experience in our cooking classes, we kindly request that participants have access to a functioning camera and a working computer or phone. This will allow you to see, hear, and actively participate in the class. While watching is entirely optional, the classes are designed for us to cook together in real-time.

    For an optimal learning experience, it's best if I can see your hands during the cooking session. This allows me to provide precise and professional guidance throughout the lesson.

  • We won't ask for payment until you're completely satisfied with the learning objectives and we've finalized the details. We want you to feel excited and confident about your program before making any monetary investment.

  • Online: The cost of the class includes all digital materials and instruction. However, the cost of ingredients and equipment is not included (unless the purchase of additional add on)

    For in person classes, all equipment and ingredients will be provided for and included in the total price for our class.

    Please reach out to us at headchef@nourishhappy.com if ingredients are difficult to find or if the equipment needed is out of reach. We will do our best to accommodate.

  • Depending on the class, all participants will have the opportunity to taste and enjoy the dishes they prepare. We recommend you review our policies and covid-19 protocols to ensure that all are safe.

  • We understand that sometimes things come up, so if you need to cancel a personalized class package or group class, we can offer you store credit that can be applied to any Nourish Happy. product or service.

    To be eligible for a credit, please let us know at least three business days before our first lesson. While we can't offer refunds due to the amount of prep required, we're committed to making sure you're satisfied with your Nourish Happy. experience.
